Christmas Wish List 2013

Nicer handwriting... haha!  Moving right along.  I’m not going to pretend to know what you want for Christmas, but here are a few of the things that have caught my eye recently.  Maybe you’ll get a good idea!

Cookbooks!  Always on my list.  I don’t think you can ever have enough, even if they don’t fit on your shelves anymore.  These three are at the top of my list right now.

Bountiful by Diane Cu and Todd Porter (White on Rice Couple, whose blog you should definitely visit right now).

The Bouchon Bakery cookbook (Sebastien Rouxel)

The French Laundry cookbook (Thomas Keller)

Items for the kitchen also usually on the list.  Whether it’s useful things that I need like an ice cream scoop or a microplane grater, or items that I want like this cutest antler bottle opener or these golden bubbly glasses from Indigo.

Something unique on my 2013 list is a puzzle.  One of those huge thousands of pieces kinds.  I haven’t done one of these in ages, and ever since I cleared off my kitchen table, I actually have space to do one!

Then, there’s clothes.  I don’t wear much jewelry; kind of hard when you’re in a lab and wearing gloves most of the time, but this owl necklace from RW and Co. has me smitten.
 

Also this dress from Club Monaco.  If only they had my size I would have already bought it as an early Christmas gift from me!  I am seriously into the colour gold lately.
